Sports betting in the Philippines has grown significantly in recent years. More Filipinos than ever are watching international football, following esports tournaments, and keeping up with multiple basketball leagues at once. qh88 was built to serve that appetite — offering a sports betting section that reflects what Philippine players actually care about, with PHP deposits, local e-wallet support, and a live betting interface built for mobile.
This guide walks through how qh88 Sports works, what to expect from the betting experience, and how to approach sports wagering responsibly. Whether you're based in Metro Manila, Cebu City, Davao, or anywhere else in the Philippines, the experience is designed around your currency and your sports calendar.
There's no debate about basketball's place in Philippine culture. The PBA is the longest-running professional basketball league in Asia, and its three conference seasons — Philippine Cup, Commissioner's Cup, and Governors' Cup — generate consistent year-round interest. qh88 covers PBA games with pre-match and live betting options, including handicap lines, totals, and match winner markets.
Beyond the PBA, the NBA draws some of the most active betting sessions at qh88. Regular season games, playoffs, and the NBA Finals all bring Filipino fans to the sports section in force. The live in-play markets for NBA games are particularly detailed — you can bet on quarter-by-quarter outcomes, individual player performance markets, and more during a single game.
Both leagues are listed in the qh88 sports lobby when games are scheduled. Pre-match bets can be placed up until the tip-off, after which live in-play markets open. Handicap betting is popular for PBA games given how frequently the standings fluctuate — getting points on the underdog can change the value of a bet significantly. Totals betting (over/under on combined points) suits fans who follow the scoring patterns of specific teams closely.
Football's popularity in the Philippines has climbed steadily, driven largely by Premier League broadcasting and the country's own national team following. qh88's football section covers the major European leagues — English Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and Ligue 1 — alongside UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and major international tournaments like the FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the AFC Championship.
Football betting at qh88 uses the standard 1X2 format for match results alongside Asian Handicap lines, which are widely used across Southeast Asia and give bettors a more level playing field when there's a clear favourite. Both Teams to Score, Correct Score, and First Goalscorer markets round out the options for football fans who want more than a simple win/loss bet.
The Philippines has produced world boxing champions across multiple weight classes, and big fight nights remain cultural events. When a Filipino fighter competes for a world title, qh88 sports activity spikes sharply. Boxing betting markets include straight fight winner bets, method of victory (KO, TKO, decision), round betting, and over/under rounds.
International boxing events — from WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO title fights to high-profile heavyweight bouts — are also covered at qh88. Fight night is often one of the most active periods in the qh88 sports section, and periodic boxing promotions may run alongside major cards.
The Philippines has one of the most active esports communities in Southeast Asia. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is arguably the most-followed esport in the country, with a dedicated professional league and a large grassroots player base. Dota 2, Valorant, and CS2 also have significant followings among Filipino players and viewers.
qh88 offers esports betting on major tournament events across these titles. Tournament outright bets, individual series winner markets, and map-level handicaps are all available depending on the event. Live in-play betting for esports at qh88 follows the match as it progresses, with odds shifting based on in-game performance.
Esports odds can shift quickly — more so than traditional sports — because tournament formats often involve best-of-three or best-of-five series where momentum swings dramatically. If you're new to esports betting, start with pre-match outright bets on tournaments you already watch before moving into live in-play markets.
The Premier Volleyball League has transformed women's volleyball into one of the Philippines' most-watched sports. The PVL open conference and reinforced conference draw significant viewership, and qh88 lists PVL matches during active seasons. Volleyball betting typically covers match winners, set handicaps, and total sets — markets that suit the fast, set-based format of the sport.
International volleyball, including the FIVB World Championship and Asian championships, also features during those tournament windows. Filipino volleyball fans who follow both the PVL and international competitions will find relevant markets to engage with throughout the year.
